Dr. Hitesh Punyani

An experienced physician from New Delhi, Dr. Hitesh Punyani specialises in Diabetes. He is currently attached with Maharaja Agrasen Hospital as a Consultant Medicine. Dr. Punyani is also available for consultation at Chaitanya Cardio Diabetes Centre located at Ramesh Nagar in New Delhi. He can independently manage Outdoor Clinic, Med ICU, CCU and NIC lab. Besides being well versed with Mechanical Ventilators and ETI, Dr. Punyani is also a trained professional in TMT, M-Mode, 2D Doppler, Stress Echocardiography. Till date, he has independently performed more than 300 Coronary Angiographies, 100 Temporary Cardiac Pacing and 200 CVP Lines. As an assistant, he has also played an important role in more than 200 PTCA/ Coronary Stenting, 150 cases of Permanent Pacemakers (including Dual Chamber rate Responsive Pacing, Biventricular Devices and AICD), and 200 CAG's.

His both degrees, an MBBS and MD in General Medicine were accomplished from Pt. BD Sharma PGIMS in Rohtak. It was followed by Rotatory Internship in the same institute. Prior to his current assignments, Dr. Punyani has worked with Jaipur Golden Hospital's Department of Cardiology as Junior Consultant. He has also worked as Senior Resident at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital's Department of Cardiology, Pt. BD Sharma PGIMS and ESI Hospital- Basaidarapur's Department of Medicine.

Dr. Punyani takes special interest in teaching PG and DNB students which he does by conducting seminars and lectures. He has played a role of Thesis Guide for below mentioned thesis titled as:
